A Jolly Holiday Martini
It’s the greatest time of the year! Cold weather approaching, fires burning, Coquito being made, and lots of love being shared. The holidays is the perfect time to whip out some new, festive recipes that are quick and easy to make. This holiday martini is delicious and will make your holiday meals that much better.
Ingredients
Milk/White Chocolate Liqueur (ie; Bailey’s, Black Irish Creme, or your preferred)
Plain Vodka
Crushed peppermint (optional)
Chocolate syrup (optional)
Instructions
Chill your martini glass (leave it in the fridge for a few minutes or allow ice cubes to chill in glass and then dump). This is not a drink that’s meant to be warm or too cold.
(Optional) Dip martini glass into water and then into a plate of your crushed peppermint pieces, or chocolate syrup, OR you can even do BOTH (chocolate rim with peppermint pieces) to give your rim a fun, festive look.
Add 2 ounces of your preferred vodka to the glass.
Fill glass with your preferred liqueur.
Recently I’ve tried Mariah Carey’s Black Irish Liqueur in Original and White Chocolate and it is amazing! I recommend it over Bailey’s any day (my personal opinion).
Sip and enjoy!
Enjoy with your holiday desserts! Paired best with cookies and cakes.
For those looking to satisfy dietary needs for this holiday season you can exchange your chocolate syrup for a sugar free or vegan chocolate syrup and can create your own “Bailey’s” using almond or oat milk, vegan or sugar free chocolate syrup, a hint of vanilla, and a hint of sugar.
