Gameday Treats – Crab Rangoons

These are one of my favorite finger foods to make that’s perfect for any occasion. This crab rangoon recipe will be the favorite for all your guests and can easily fit into your vegetarian diet!

Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • Fresh crab meat or Imitation crab

  • Salt & pepper, garlic powder

  • 1 package of cream cheese (can use Kitehill’s Vegan cream cheese as an alternative)

  • Green onion or chives (optional)

  • Worchestire sauce

  • Wonton wrappers (can substitute Nasoya’s Vegan wonton wrappers)

  • Sweet & Sour sauce (optional for dipping)

Instructions

  • Wash and chop up your crab meat until it is in small/diced pieces.

  • Add crab meat to a bowl and add your one full package of cream cheese.

  • Next, add your seasonings; 1 teaspoon of salt, garlic powder, and pepper and 2 tablespoons of worchestire sauce.

  • Mix well until consistency is thick and creamy. While mixing you can also add your chopped green onions in (I love the flavor these add so I add a good amount to the mix).

  • Grab your wonton wrappers and fill a bowl with water, which will be used to help seal your wontons.

  • Add one scoop of your crab mix into the middle of the wonton wrapper, dip your finger in the water and trace around all of the wonton edges. Pinch together the two diagonal corners until sealed and then repeat for the other two corners.

  • The last step will be repeated until your crab mix and/or wonton wrappers are finished.

  • Begin to heat your oil in a frying pan. You can use avocado oil or vegetable oil for a healthier option. If not, canola oil works too!

  • Fry your wontons until they have a nice crispy, golden brown look. Repeat until all are complete.

  • Add your sweet & sour sauce to a small bowl, serve and enjoy!
